I had an incredible stay at this hotel right in the heart of Dotonbori. The rooms were beautifully designed in tatami style with a living space and balcony overlooking the Dotonbori River, although the service was quite rude. The location was perfect for exploring all the attractions nearby, and the dining experience was absolutely stellar with affordable rates.

My stay at the ryokan was a mixed experience. The rooms, although traditional, were comfy, but the mats on the floor were a bit of a struggle. The cleanliness was top-notch, including the bathroom. The service was incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to assist us. The location was right in the heart of the shopping and nightlife district, enjoyable for walks around, but the loud night cruises were a drawback. The dining options were nice overall, and the public bath experience was a cherry on top. The traditional shabu-shabu was a decent choice. However, the room quality was a letdown for me.
